Clean Room manufacturing is the KEY towards hygiene
Depending on customer requirements, these seals are produced in either a clean room or a white room according to ISO 13485, the compulsory condition for many devices going into hospitals, clinics and numerous other areas of the health sector. Furthermore, the environmental sustainability of the production plant is guaranteed by its ISO 14001 certification.
The whole manufacturing process is fully controlled by qualified staff, from the design and construction of the tools, to injection molding, automatic quality control, packaging and shipping. We guarantee full traceability from raw material to shipment. If needed we can produce custom parts according to client specifications including long term implants.
Last but not least, we pay particular attention to documentation by providing our customers with quality and biocompatibility certificates, technical data sheets, and approvals data, and ensure the compliance of our raw materials to USP Class VI Standard.
Certifications
• USP Class VI: Plastics and other polymers are listed by the USP in several classes from Class I to Class VI depending on their response to a series of in vivo biological reactivity tests. USP Class VI compliance is the most demanding one and is considered as a basic requirement for medical devices manufacturers.
• ISO 13485: It is a Standard based on ISO 9001. Its main purpose is to enable companies to provide safe and efficient medical devices as well as to fulfill clients expectations and regulative authorities requirements.
• ISO 14001: It is an international Standard which states how to set up a reliable environmental management system. It is a guide for companies to keep being commercially successful without forgetting to be green-thinking.
• ISO 9001: The international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS). It demonstrates the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Stock and production of O-Rings for medical application
We offer two grades of silicone (VMQ) compounds in hardnesses between 20 and 70 Shore-A, Medical Grade and Implantable grade. The first is the most common, used in a large portion of non-implantable medical devices. The second is required when components are designed for invasive patient applications, including for long-term implantation (more than 30 days).
