FFKM Evolast® O-Rings, the brand new generation of perfluoroelastomers
FFKM compounds are elastomers which provide the highest thermal and chemical resistance. Some FFKM compounds can be exposed to temperatures above 300ºC. FFKM O-Rings resistance to chemical products is almost comparable to the one of PTFE.
Evolast®-made O-Rings, the brand new generation of perfluoroelastomers (FFKM according to ASTM D1418), have been designed to combine the thermal and chemical resistance properties of PTFE with typical sealing properties of elastomers.
Evolast®-made seals are used in equipments that require enhanced reliability in aggressive environments such as mechanical seals, valves and pumps. JIOrings provides standard Evolast® O-Rings but also special sizes on request.
FFKM Evolast® O-Rings withstand temperatures from –25 °C to 270 °C for standard compounds and up to 340 °C for special compounds. Compounds for low temperature (from -40 °C to 260 °C) are also available.
